Lest we forget

On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918 the guns were silenced. The Great War or WW1 1914-1918 finally ended with a combined military & civilian catastrophic loss of 37 million people.

Today marks 100 years since the armistice of the most senseless conflict the world has ever seen.

"When you go Home, tell them of us and say, For your Tomorrow, we gave our Today” John Maxwell Edmunds 1916 ...Truer words were never spoken!

We combine our tribute of remembrance to all peoples who have endured the suffering of all wars before, during and since the Great War.
